This is a 2-day self-guided bike tour in Kaunas. You will be riding along roads and cycling paths. The total distance – 85 km.

At first, the train will take you from Vilnius to Kaunas. Then you will go for a ride alongside the river, visiting the towns of Kačerginė and Zapyškis, then coming back to Kaunas (45 km on the first day).

On the 2nd day, after a good night’s sleep, you will be cycling to Pažaislis Monastery and back (40km) and then take a train back to Vilnius.

The tour along and across the riverside of the longest Lithuanian river Nemunas from the city center of Kaunas to the inviting cozy summer resorts to one direction, and to UNESCO protected Baroque sanctuary of Pažaislis to the other. The ride will tremble through the Old Town cobble streets with Kaunas Castle Walls and numerous churches, will slide through UNESCO protected inter-war architecture, massive industrial areas, and towards peaceful outskirts with aromatic pine trees and peaceful ferries.
