Our next stop in Dieveniškės Historical Regional Park is Grybiškės Oak. It is a state-protected natural heritage object. In 1999 it was included in the list of protected objects. The circumference of the oak trunk is 4.98 m, the diameter is about 1.6 m, and the height is about 26 m.
Did you know? In 1971, the largest boletus in Lithuania was found near Grybiškės oak, which was registered in the Lithuanian record book. The boletus weighed 3.05 kg, and the diameter of the cap was 49 cm.
According to rough estimates, Grybiškės oak is about 1000 years old.
