We presented our third route around the Aukštaitija region. Let’s travel further – we are starting a new route around Gražutė Regional Park. It is a park located in the north-eastern part of Lithuania – in Zarasai and Ignalina districts.

The first place to visit in this park is Tiltiškės water mill, located in Zarasai district. The old Tiltiškės watermill stood 150 meters away from the current mill. Here people used to ground groats and cut wood. The mill also operated as a power plant that provided electricity to the residents of Tiltiškės village and Salakas town.

In addition to the watermill itself, most of the museum’s exhibits consist of a collection of antique radios, from the oldest detector to one of the first sound media – gramophone records, as well as tape recorders manufactured at Kaunas Radio Factory.
