The next stop on our route is Aukštaitija National Park, or more specifically – Ginučiai Water Mill. It is considered to be one of the most memorable places to visit in Aukštaitija National Park.
Did you know?
There are six more water mills in the park, but the Ginučiai mill is the only mill that has preserved its authentic equipment. A mill is a popular place due to the flooded Srovė stream, where you can see swans, ducks and other water birds up close. Also, there is an exposition on the second floor of the mill, where you can find out about how bread is made and its journey from grain to the table.
